Approach Photography isn’t about good or bad, better or worse. Photography is about finding the authentic style within each of us—a style that can’t be taught but must be discovered, remembered, and nurtured. Authenticity enables patience. There is one image that is in perfect harmony with this style and a particular scene. You must give yourself to the scene without preconception or hesitation and let this image find you. The trick is to discover how to stop thinking and start feeling without losing concentration or patience. You thus move from observing the scene to seeing the image. Finally, patience enables integrity. Once seen, give the image all you have physically and emotionally.
